Navy Museum Lunchtime Lecture and Book Signing – In Their Own Words: The Navy Fights the War of 1812

VADM George W. Emery, USN (Retired) will lecture at the National Museum of the United States Navy about his book, In Their Own Words: The Navy Fights the War of 1812. The book, which was published by the Naval Historical Foundation, features digital reproductions and transcriptions of documents from the War of 1812 currently in Emery’s personal collection. The book will be available for sale at the lecture, and can also be purchased through the Museum’s Online Store: museumstore.navyhistory.org/product-p/00001.htm
