As part of the annual Submarine History Day celebrated at Albacore Park, the Portsmouth Submarine Memorial Association has selected VADM Charles B. “Swede” Momsen, USN (Ret.) to be honored at this year’s celebration. The celebration will be held on 20 September 2014 at Albacore Park, Portsmouth, NH. The 1130 am guest speaker will be Helen Hart Momsen, granddaughter of “Swede” Momsen, followed by a video honoring “Swede” Momsen. The video has been produced by the Portsmouth Submarine Memorial Association in conjunction with The Friends of Albacore.
