Gunnery Sergeant Harold L. Bryant, USMC (Ret.)
Gunnery Sergeant Bryant is a 1980 Calumet High School, Chicago Illinois graduate. After high school Gunnery Sergeant Bryant started training and working as a junior fiscal assistant at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics while attending Chicago State University at night.
In 1982 Gunnery Sergeant Bryant enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in the Military Occupational Specialty of Administration. Over the next 20 years Gunnery Sergeant Bryant served the United States Marine Corps at the 3rd Force Service Support Group, Okinawa Japan / Marine Corps Air Station, New River, NC / Recruiting Station Headquarters, Nashville, TN / Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC / Marine Corps Base Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan / Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Washington DC and Office of the Navy Comptroller, Pentagon.
Gunnery Sergeant Bryant retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2002 and joined Commonwealth Consulting Corporation, Arlington, Virginia as an Executive Assistant through 2018. In August of 2018 Gunnery Sergeant Bryant joined the staff of the Naval Historical Foundation to present.
