Battleship North Carolina: The Legacy Series – Under the Sea with Submarine USS North Carolina

In July, the Battleship continues with the 2nd Saturday series, part of the statewide North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources programming.

The Legacy Series continues as they go Under the Sea with Submarine USS North Carolina. Join them in the Battleship Visitor Center as they welcome our special guests, four young men who served aboard submarine North Carolina (SSN 777), the Navy’s next-generation attack submarine which is currently stationed in Pearl Harbor. Area submarine veterans will bring “show and tell items” and video to engage visitors about different eras of submarine development, technologies, equipment, mission, and daily life aboard these undersea warriors.
