Block 39 Thursday: Spanish American War

January 19, 2012 @ 2:30 pm

Navy Museum LogoThis new program at the National Museum of the United States Navy is designed to bring “bite sized” pieces of naval history and heritage to the enlisted community. Each month’s program will focus on a different topic in naval history through gallery talks and examination of artifacts in the Navy Museum (without lectures or Power Point!) January’s topic, the Spanish American War, will investigate the causes and the Navy’s role in the conflict. While designed to assist the enlisted community with their “block 39” requirement, all members of the general public and greater U.S. Naval community are welcome to attend.

Please visit the Museum’s website for more information.
