Life on the Home Front: Family Life in the U.S. and U.K. during WWII
Join the staff of the Navy Museum for a look at the differences and similarities between life on the home front in WWII in both the U.S. and the U.K. Whether “planting for victory” or “digging for victory” women and children played an important role in the WWII economies of their countries, holding life together at home and supporting men serving on the Front. A family project will follow a short tour of the Navy Museum’s WWII home front exhibit.
